ABOUT COH
And Dr. Moné Shaw
*COH is not currently accepting patients*
COH is a boutique private practice. Our approach integrates various evidence-based methods. Individualized treatment plans are developed to meet the needs of our clients and families. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, behavioral and psychological aspects guide the therapeutic experience for you and your loved ones.
COH aims not to change a child’s personality, but nurture their interests, communication, and relationships. Our ABA programs follow the child’s lead while fostering a mutual relationship between COH and our families. As the leading science-based intervention for autism spectrum and other developmental conditions, COH employs positive practices within ABA therapy that are safe and effective.

Mindfulness refers to the quality of awareness (consciousness) that cultivates from being free of judgment, paying intentional awareness to the present, trust, gratitude, and self-compassion. Statistical evidence shows Mindfulness reduces depression, anxiety, and stress symptoms. Even brief mindfulness meditation sessions can reduce emotional intensity when responding to events in our life. Mindfulness practices show significant benefits for children and adults.

Dr. Mone Shaw’s exploration into mindfulness began 9 years prior while traveling throughout Eastern Asia. Over the years, she began to cultivate her own personal mindfulness sadhana. This led to her conducting academic research on the life-enhancing practice and its effects on anxiety, depression, and stress in adults. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and doctor of psychology, the intrinsic worth of all individuals is prized, guiding Mone Shaw's conceptualization and practice.
